Who we are

What we collect

When you submit the booking form we collect the details needed to run the ride:

Your name, phone number and (optionally) email address.

Pickup and drop-off addresses, the date and time, passenger and luggage counts.

Your flight number, when you give one, so we can track the flight.

Any notes you add — special instructions, accessibility needs, child seat requests.

If you create an account in the client portal we also store your sign-in identity, any addresses you choose to save, and your ride history with the associated invoices.

Our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as part of serving the site.

How we use it

We use your information to arrange and deliver the ride you booked, to contact you about it, to issue invoices and receipts, and to answer enquiries you send us. We also use aggregate, non-identifying figures to understand which pages and services people use.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s independent marketing.

Who we share it with

The chauffeur assigned to your ride, who receives the details needed to complete it.

Resend, which delivers our booking confirmation and notification emails.

Telegram, which we use internally to alert our dispatcher to new bookings.

Google, for advertising measurement and spam prevention — see the next section.

Our hosting and database providers, who store the data on our behalf.

We also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site uses Google reCAPTCHA on the booking form to block automated spam. Its use is governed by Google’s privacy policy and terms.

Where we have advertising configured, the site loads the Google tag for Google Ads conversion measurement and, optionally, Google Analytics. This tells us that a booking or a call came from an ad, not who you are.

One detail worth stating plainly: we use Google’s "enhanced conversions" feature. When you submit a booking, the Google tag takes the email address and phone number you entered, hashes them in your browser, and sends only the hashed values to Google so it can match the booking to an ad click. Google receives the hashes, not the plain values.

If you are signed in to the client portal, a session cookie keeps you signed in. It is required for the portal to work.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The booking form and the portal may not work correctly if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and invoice records for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host.

Your choices

Email info@oldcolonychauffeur.com and we will tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. We will ask you to confirm your identity before acting on the request.

You can unsubscribe from any non-essential email using the link in that email. Messages about a ride you have booked are operational, not marketing, and are sent regardless.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. We do of course carry children as passengers — in that case the booking is made by an adult, and any child seat request is part of the booking, not a separate record about the child.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
